Remembering the `90s
Wow, doesn’t this bring back memories?
Ahh, what a great show that was. Many of life’s greatest lessons were displayed for all to see after school (and now, before school)

Not as if it ever was churning at full pace.
I still don’t find everyday occurrences interesting enough to blog about. Since my last post on here I’ve switched my work schedule and am now working the day shift. That is 9am to 5pm like a normal person. Do I like it? Of course I do. My body is back to feeling normal and not so worn out. Although the first week or so I’ve had to adjust to this new feeling of actually sleeping at night. It certainly isn’t like the past 3 years were I was trying to adjust on a daily basis. I was never able to get a set sleeping pattern down. Some weeks it worked and others I had to change it up. Now I know I need to be in bed by 10pm so be able to wake up early for work.
What else has happened? Ah yes, I went to Las Vegas, NV with my best buds. We all had a blast, got trashed, and spent money. I tried Texas Hold’um Poker for the first time and I really liked it. I had that feeling you get when your inline for a amusement ride and your stomach starts churning and you anticipate the worst. Well at least thats what it felt like to me. As far as I could tell I had only made one mistake and that was on a option. Instead of just checking, I threw my cards in. The dealer was nice and told me I had the option but I figured I had already given up any slight chance of a bluff so I kept them folded. All in all, the trip was great and I couldn’t of asked for a better time.
Highlights of the trip:
- Grey Goose and Redbull/Cranberry Juice
- The Centrifuge Bar @ the MGM Grand
- Poker
One thing is for sure, Vegas is a nice place to visit.
